and start this up-http://www.coscom.co.jp/learnjapanese801/howtotypejapanese.html (windows xp if u have windows xp. follow the guide for ur OS)

youll be able to type japanese letters like if u type

A itll show up as あ

and the dictionary tells u what to type to get the right words. try to stay with hiragana because i havent learned katakana yet and cant approve of it until i do
